Description
Chateau Valandraud is the result of considerable work by Jean-Luc Thunevin and Murielle Andraud. The origin of the name is both geographical (Val: vallon de Fongaban), sentimental (Andraud: name of Murielle). Chateau Valandraud was promoted 1st Grand Cru Classe in the 2012 classification of Saint Emilion Grands Crus. The success of Valandraud has given rise to many vocations and the creation of an "uncontrolled" designation of origin: garage wine.
