Walt produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay sourced from exceptional vineyards as far north as Oregon and as far south as Souta Barbara Country. Each wine across our portfolio is thoughtfully crafted to honor and reflect the natural character of these sites. Family owned by Craig and Kathryn Hall, Walt celebrates Kathryn’s family’s dedication to viticulture beginning in 1972. The Sta. Rita Hills are situated in the only east-west mountain corridor along the Pacific Coast creating a maritime channel of cool fog and wind. Combined with limiting mineral laden soils, this region produces bright, savory, rare and distinctive Pinot Noir.
