Description

Sourced from a generations-deep grower family, the special selection of Macon-Villages hits all the sweet spots - succulent fruit, a tangy energy pulled from the area's chalky soils and balanced alcohol. Winemaker Thomas Perraud selects older-vine Chardonnay fruit from his peerless vineyards in La Roche Vineuse, one of the area's top terroirs. Soils here are chalky and stony, which contributes to the wine its lacy texture and mineral-infused, sea-salty finish. This is value Chardonnay with serious soul, a blanc that will seduce and astound those who claim allegiance to Cote de Beaune whites.
