Domaine Chanson Mercurey Premier Clos L'eveque Pinot Noir 2022

After a winter marked by temperature variations between January and February, spring started gently. Coolness and heat followed one another between April and May with a significant lack of rain that could not be compensated for by the storms in June. The summer was marked by several rather long heatwaves and the arrival of storms at the end of August had a very beneficial effect before the start of the harvest. At Chanson, the harvest began on August 30th and ended on September 13th. The 2022 vintage was very generous in volume and the quality is also there with well-balanced, precise and fresh white wines.

Beautiful bright ruby color. Peony fragrances with very fresh aromas of ripe red berries (strawberry, cherry) mixed with notes of liquorice and pepper. Well built and complex. Dense texture with a long and generous finish with notes of greedy fruit
