Description

This wine hails from the terroirs of 'la Delatte', 'les Rouchaux' and 'les Maisonneuves' on the east slope, below the historical moulin-a-vent. Specific granitic soils (gorrhe), lay over deeper soils rich in manganese and metalic oxides. The vineyards are slightly protected from the powerful winds blowing on the appellation. 2019 turned out to be a very good vintage and very sunny. Frost on April 3-4 along with summer heatwaves led to a low yield. The vintage started late. Overall conditions that created balanced, fine and aromatic wines.

This wine is part of the Chateau du Moulin-a-Vent family.
