Description

Monthelie is situated between Volnay, Meursault and Auxey-Duresses. The appellation is often missed due to its small size, but some outstanding wines are crafted from its terroir. The wine is hand harvested and mostly destemmed before vinification starts for 14 to 16 days. After vinification, the Pinot Noir is aged in 20% new French oak for 10 to 12 months
