Wakefield Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

This wine is perfumed in plum and dark cherry fruit, dried flowers, earthy herbs and an oak-driven charred-meat note that adds character. There's a lovely lift of acidity that makes the fruit feel crunchy. The tannins are chalky textured and taut. In typical Cabernet fashion, they're powerful but not overwhelming. — Christina Pickard
