Description

This is ripe, yet with prominent acidity, displaying peach, melon and wax aromas, followed by pear and slate flavors. There's ample acidity, but the flesh matches, creating a balanced profile. It is actually very light on its feet, with great poise, but also firm grip. It glides to a long aftertaste. Best after 2025 Aleks Zecevic

Germany

Germany is famous for its Riesling, particularly from the Mosel, Rheingau, and Pfalz regions. The cool climate and slate soils of the Mosel produce Rieslings with high acidity, minerality, and flavors of green apple and citrus. The Rheingau offers more full-bodied styles with ripe fruit and floral notes, while the Pfalz produces a range of dry and sweet Rieslings. Germany also excels in producing excellent Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder) and sparkling Sekt. The country’s wines are known for their precision, balance, and distinctive regional character, making them a favorite among connoisseurs and collectors.
