Description

From Matanzas Creek, one of Sonoma County’s most esteemed wineries, comes a new Chardonnay. Lively & savory, it promises to delight both our devoted supporters and those yet to experience Matanzas Creek. The chardonnay vineyards used in this blend are sourced from all over Sonoma County, from high elevation vineyards above Alexander Valley that bring tension and power, to Bennett Valley where cooler growing conditions allow flavors to develop that are crisp and vibrant. Crafted to exemplify an expression of the fruit, this white wine has aromas and flavors of grilled nectarine and white lilies with hints of pineapple and key lime pie. Minerality balances this elegant wine. Pair with butternut squash and ricotta ravioli, seared salmon with farro salad, and roasted chicken with wild mushrooms and herb couscous.
