Description

The Delon family, owners of Leoville-Las-Cases, acquired Chateau Nenin in 1997 and invested significantly in renovating the estate's 25 hectare of vineyards and its wine making cellars. These renovations, combined with the work of consultant Michel Rolland, have resulted in wines that are more concentrated and suitable for longer aging. The clay-gravel terroir of Pomerol makes Nenin a wine that is elegant and straightforward. Powerful, almost wild, this 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon wine possesses a certain depth of fruit and an elegant tannic structure.
