Domaine de Courcel, located in Pommard, is one of Burgundy grandest estates, having been in the ownership of the de Courcel family since its foundation 400 years ago. The Domaine has developed a unique know-how, combining both traditional and modern methods for the vineyard, the wine making and maturing (elevage) The techniques used respect both the terroir and the environment. The estate is skillfully and traditionally managed: Organic and vegan, low yield, hand picking harvest at full maturation with vinification in wooden vats with whole bunches to enhance the
freshness of the fruit. This wine is aged in oak casks 22 months before bottling, allowing added layer of texture to the wine.
