Domaine Bertagna Vosne-Romanee Premier Cru Les Beaux Monts 2018

This Premier cru is between Les Echezeaux and the Richebourg on a hilly terroir, very rich in pebbles with excellent drainage. The Bertagna team rigorously controls the yield of the vineyard by disbudding and possibly green harvesting (depending on the year). Grapes are manually harvested, with selection of grapes in the vineyard and sorting table

After sorting the grapes are vinified with 30% to 50% whole bunch and then fermented slow and controlled for at least 3 weeks. The wine is then aged 15 to 18 months in 50% new French oak.
