Clos Fourtet Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2019

The main feature of Clos Fourtet, this first classified grand cru, is to be called closed (on the principle of Burgundy estates that are surrounded by walls). Resting on the limestone plateau at the foot of the famous city of Saint-Emilion, the Merlot grape dominates and the wines of the property are recognizable by their regularity, giving precision, freshness and a certain balance. Philippe and Matthieu Cuvelier (father & son) continue to maintain the reputation of this nectar ranked first (among the other 13) in the classification of wines of Saint-Emilion.
