Description
Chateau Trotte Vieille boasts a unique feature in Saint-Emilion a small plot of 120 year old pre-phylloxera vines. Overlooking a small south-facing valley, Premier Grand Cru Classé's vines benefit from long sun exposure and a terroir of thin clay on a limestone plateau. Chateau Trotte Vieille wines are known for their elegance, roundness and long finish characteristics that are partly due to the high percentage of Cabernet Franc in the blend. Fruity and well-balance even when young, Trotte Vieille wines fill out and balance beautifully after several years of bottle aging.
