Description

Thanks to its terroir of graves, Chateau Poujeaux, exceptional bourgeois cru, was for a long time the property of the family Theil, who worked to his fame. George Pompidou loved it. In the Middle Ages, the Land of Poujeaux was a dependent seigneury of Latour Saint-Mambert, future Chateau Latour. In 2008, the Cuvelier family (already owner of Clos Fourtet) took over the destiny, by continuing, they infuse a new energy and much ambition to this property of 52 ha planted with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot and Malbec.
