Description

In the 18th century, Chateau Lynch-Moussas, like Lynch-Bages, was owned by the famous Lynch family of Irish origin. The 62-hectare vineyard is planted with 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. The Casteja family, owners since the 16th century in Pauillac, acquired the chateau in the early 20th century. It wasn't until 1970 thatEmile Casteja inherited the estate and took over its management. Since 2001, his son Philippe Casteja has taken over the reins of the Left Bank properties. Lynch-Moussas is a member of the Union des Grands Crus.
