Les Granges is a fruity, agreeable wine that should be drunk young. It is an example of easy-going and round Chinon from sandy gravelly soil.

  • Soil: Mixed gravels and sands on recent alluvial terraces
  • Vines: Planted between 1985 and 1988
  • Vinification / Aging: Manual harvest. Two-week fermentation in cement vats, then seven to ten months aging in cement vats. Bottling the following spring or summer.
