Santenay
Santenay is located at the Southern tip of the Cote de Beaune in Burgundy, France. Known for its quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the region’s sits at the edge of the limestone-rich soils of the Cote d'Or. Santenay’s reds are known for their chalky tannins, while the whites are more driven by acidic structure. Most of the region's wines are Pinot Noir offering more of a value than Pommard, but with that same exhibition of flavors of red fruit, earth, and spice. The Chardonnays offer crisp acidity and flavors of citrus and green apple.
