Domaine Lafage Novellum Chardonnay 2021

This is an interesting Chardonnay at a very interesting price. The wine has a linear character of many French chardonnays due to its sourcing from vineyards on clay-limestone soils and a fermentation in tank, Aromatic complexity is built in the wine by aging 30% of the cepage in French oak and the remainder in tank on the lees of Viognier.
